When the wind blows your way,
Remember me like I was that day,
Happy as a son, a brother, a husband, a dad.
The seasons they say, mark a change in life;
As the geese fly south, and the nets are pulled,
I know in my heart, everything will be alright.
These things I loved and in my life I held,
As a son, a brother, a husband, a dad.
Someday, we will come to understand,
That there are things that bring us together,
God and his helping hand, and
Like the Eagle who loses a feather,
I was a son, a brother, a husband, a dad.
My road was hard and sometimes tough
But, remember the good times and the laughter.
Maybe it was time, I had had enough,
In our hearts we will always be together,
and remember as your son, your brother, your husband, your dad.
