I live in the shadows of a mountain,
I live beside a lake,that mirrors all about,
Phantoms keep me company,
I sit before a fire,
The flames are dancing and flickering,
Changing to fingers of gold on this crisp and chilly night,
I am sitting transfixed--hypnotic,
My mind drifts, the flames spiral and i am captured,
I am drawn up with the flames,
Up into a vacuum that's reaching for the stars,
Our destination,
The constellation, the universe,
In this flickering light i see their ghostly faces,
As they come in from the night,
There silhouetted in a back ground,
That was weaved and sown--sculptured long ago,
They wonder in and take their places,
A circle formed,
The circle connected,
It slowly turns,
The motion is perpetual,
The centre is our beginning,
Time is webbed together building blocks of peace,
I can see the eagle fly in perfection through the sky,
In grace were the creator shows his face.
