I have to been to many powwows where there is only one or two crow style dancer(s) and many sioux style dancers or northern traditional if you want. These crow men have there own style of dancing and are fun to watch esspecially when they dance to double beat, duck and dive as well as straight northern traditional songs. Instead of getting really low like the sioux style they dance more up right and have some smooth foot work, they can flat out dance. What catagory would they fit into if there was no crow style ???

Crow style IS "traditional" for Crows.

So when there is a traditional men's category, how much more traditional can you get?

I dance crow traditional. Most of the time they just dance in the normal northern traditional category. some times depending on what kind of bustle they are wearing determines where they dance. I have been told that if you wear a flashier style bustle they could put you in the fancy or grass. But still i have never been told to dance with fancy or grass.
