I have been working on a new apron set for my outfit. In the past I have used leather fringe, but this time I thought I would try out the modern style and attach the satin ribbon. I do not know the way of attaching one at a time or if there is a better way to attach them all at the same time.
thanks,crazy eagle

Well when i did mine I knew i wanted my fringe to be 10 inches. So then i took a piece of cardboard and cut it in to a 10 inch square. I took a roll of satin ribbon wrapped it around the cardboard and cut it so it was 20 inches. Then i took each string folded it in half, draped it over the string and ran the two ends through the loop on the other side thus making two strands of fringe from one. When i sowed it on i just laid it out like i wanted it then sowed it on with the machine. When sowing just sow along the edge of the fringe were it wraps around the string but don't sow the string. If your still alittle unclear pm me and i'll try to explain it better. i'll try to get some pics too but i don't know if i have any.
