beaded vests
i'm working on my first one right now and had a question.
would you fully bead the back???? i know it looks better but i have seen a bunch of dancers not beadig the whole back due to the bustle. thanks for the help. |

Howdy Tigger, wow yer taking on a big job. I guess you are fully beading the front and I assume you are doing it in lanes and lastly you feather dance. My opinion is if you have the time, do the back as well. You might change dance styles and you will have the back all done to show off. Also, if'n you decide to sell it down the road it would be worth a lot more frogskins. Just my thoughts..............

Tigger I've been seeing both on the guys I've seen wearing vests. On a few of the vests the back had the main design elements and no background. I'm not sure if they were works in progress or done that way intentionally. But they looked pretty good. Depending on your design you might do that and see how it looks, then when you get the time fill in the background colors if that's what you decide to do. Hope that made sense.
Is this going to match your chalk white set you did a couple years ago?
