When I place my next order with Crazy Crow, I'm getting 4 three inch Paua shells to palce on my bandoleers and breastplate. I have an old beltbuckle that I 've attached on occasion, otherwise mine is a plain jane breastplate.

My breastplate has two quiled wheels and two ermines (the ermines are hanging from the med. wheels).

No breastpalte - but I do wear two bandolier bags!
There are some cones with horshair tufts strategically placed along the edges.

I have ermine tails inside 9mm shells (bullets) on hairpipe on a disk on each side of my breastplate. I have simmilar disks on my bandoleers with full ermines hanging from them. I have alot of ribbon fringe and silver .45 shells on the bottom of my bandoleers

I usually keep my breastplates quite subdued. I have several old bone ones that only have pony beads to add a hint of color. My newest two have buckskin fringe, the long white variety, of course! I also purchased several colors of pony beads and made a design in the center section instead of using the 1.5" hairpipes. I did the same thing where the two ends of my bandolier come together.
