leather fringe or ribbon on beadwork

Sago! I just completed my first fully beaded breech cloth and I am debating whether or not to use deer skin fringe or ribbon? What do you think?

I got your pic. I would use ribbon for the outfit my colors I would use are yellow would be good.

i would suggest ribbon fringe. i just used this type for the first time and it flows so much better then the leather fringe.

Just another opinion...

Men's Northern Traditional... Always use leather fringe!!! Then accent all you want with ribbons. You can even use 6 or 8 pieces of ribbon on top of each other and attach every 3 inches along the bottom or on the sides. Just keeps your dance clothes "Traditional" while adding accents of color. Leave the 'all-ribbon-fringe' to the Fancy and Grass Dancers!
