what thing do u need to start dancing trad all i have are some trade wool leggings I'ld like to start an old time outfit

okay now get a ribbon shirt, breach clout or apron, side tabs , roach, bustle, breast plate, bells , a choker, bandoliers, a pair of plains mocs , leg fringe, a belt and other various decorations. you'll learn about various things like vests and beadwork ect. the list i just gave you is the bare basicsthere is more

A ribbon shirt, a pair of mocs and aprons will be enough to get you started. Then as you get the money add to it.

slow down youngin!!! I know you are young and ambitious. I see you bouncing all over the boards in your search for knowledge!!! But slow down take things slow, take the time to learn how to do one thing at a time the right way. And learn the reasons behind everything you wear, not only within the dance style, but also the tribal and clan reasons. Talk with your elders, your uncles. Don't just jump in with both feet and do it your own way. Read some of the threads posted on the boards and in the archives. A lot of your answers can be found there if you take time to look
