well i gotz me a bunch of live recordings in my cars ... nothing beats being there live tho. but i like the young scouts ... LOL

i remember T & R talkin about .... gettin someone to come in and dance during the recordings. to get that ... sound of the shoes slidin on the floor .... and even have the late allan fox (a gentlemen from sweetgrass first nation .. if you have ever heard him ... you know what im talking about LOL) to come in to make his distinctive sagwey ...

nothing like being at a hall in the dead of winter .... at a round dance. eating your buttery bolonie sammiches LOL and puttin your apple in your pocket LOL. hangin out at the door waiting for the next song to start ... ayez

dang....some classics. I'm down with the Bear Hills and that first Red Bull tape....that's what made me wanna learn how to sing round dance. There was an Art Moosomin tribute CD I used to like to jam to.....but of course a bro said "lemme borrow that" and I never saw it again...lol....

McGilvery and Green is another classic.

HaHaHA

I hear that he gets the lyrics from the crazy love life of his bro from the frozen tundra. The one who put the "Z" in TBZ. The one who made being fat a fashion statement. The one who made "Midnight"- "Midnite."

As for the "Golden Braid," wasn't the original golden braid a singer with Mystic River?
