Powwow Music Hall of Fame!

Who do you think should go down in powwow music history?

I hereby nominate .

Dr. Billy Baker (Mandaree)
Myron Pyawasit (Smokeytown)
Tony Issacs (Indian House Records; recorded powwow's masterpieces)

Who do you pick to go to the hall of fame?

Oh yeah:

Blackfoot A-1, kinda like Old Agency n' them

The Dreavers and Whitefish Jrs.

The Noons and High Noon

Little Island Cree, as far as being in the biz they been around for a long time, powwow and round dancin'

More local to me would be Indian Nation, anyone remember the Snake River Singers? and Blacklodge, already mentioned....

The Scabby Robe Family

Definitely Proqupine Singers, Badland Singers, Kicking Woman Singers.

And One piece of equipment you have to add other than the obviuos drums&sticks.
The valuable "handheld Tape recorder"

I was asking a 'Son of a Hall of Famer' as to why Elk Whistle is not usually mentioned in any threads. I think they put out some pretty good jams.
