what's more important?

hey what is more important, harmonizing your voice or incressing your pitch?

if its harmonizing, how can i make my voice sound melodic?

if its pitch, what is the best the way to increase pitch. would singing along with a opera cd help?

I'd say singing along to the CD's of some very good well-known northern drums would help. Opera? It probably wouldn't hurt, but way you open your throat for that "figaro figaro" sound is just a lil different than powwow singin IMHO.

Opera and Northern Singing is not the same. Never compare Opera to Northern Singing, I never got into the music of opera and I wouldnot use it personally to better my voice. I would use the highest pitch group I got on a album and try hitting it or getting an old style group and harmonzie.
