I didn't see either one of these groups on the list for best old style group. So people, who of these two top ontario old style groups make you want to dance?

The_HULK

Both are groups who don't really travel, but have good songs, and sing really good.

I would put them in the same boat.

I'd have to go with Eagle Flight on this one. I've seen them live about 4 times & they sounded real good. Have'nt had the pleasure of hearing Snake Island live at a powwow yet.

These singers are my cousins, that ain't why i am picking them. These boys are really good singers, and i think they edge snake Island out by a hair.
I have had the chance to dance to both of these groups, and both can rock men's traditional songs, and grass dance songs.
I think both of these drums are a close third behind, Bear Creek and Northern wind for Ontario's best.

Both good. Eagle Flight has good fancy dance tunes. Snake Island has great mens & womens traditional songs.

Has anyone heard Snake Island sing southern style? Dang, them guys can sound just like they was from Oklahoma!

I am a bit biased. My son sings with Snake Island.
