No it's not a joke and I mean no disrespect but are you being
a little harsh on his music ?. To be honest as well, I only like
one of his cd's, "Music From A Painted Cave" (the DVD of this)
is really outstanding as well, have you ever watched it ???.

As far as this type of music goes there are alot of better artists. Bill Miller and Walela are both excellent. This type of music doesn't get a lot of talk on here though. For one because it doesn't fit into the northern or southern drum category.

Hello. I love Walela too(2-sisters and a daughter), their singing
comes "from the heart", don't you think ?., I will look up Bill Miller

I met Robert once. He's rather...interesting ..... in a kind of gay sense. His music, I'm sorry, just sounds to me like it has one of those "wanobi" vibes. I can respect his efforts, and his achievements, but not his music.

Sure you didn't mean "he possesses childlike qualities, more on
the "gleeful", i.e."nerdy"(a good-hearted soul) type artist/person
?. In interviews he comes across, to me
at least, as mischievious, mysterious, serious but always in-
formative.

Boozhoo niji,

I first saw Painted Cave on PBS, recorded it, later bought the DVD. I saw a brief pic of Michael Roberts on the preview, figured that anything that he was in had to be ok.

The music is ok, I guess, so is the video. A year later I saw him in concert, bought the CD and got it signed by everyone. I got to talk with him a little, Patrick and Nargaz a lot. They were pretty cool, and to me they didnt come of as being "gay" or anything like that.

As far as him selling fake eagle feathers on his website... well, aint it illegal to sell REAL eagle feathers?

I am into different kinds of music, I like the traditional stuff, either pow wows or flute. I like the contemporary stuff as well, Bill Miller, Walela, Ulali, Keith Secola, and Robbie Robertson. And then I like rock and roll too, grew up on the stuff.

I dont really think anything really sucks, I just prefer to no listen to certain things. So whatever floats your boat is what I say. I never judge an album by its cover.
