Young Gunz... can this be the same group who placed low at Thunder Falls a few weeks ago and their egos were SO big that they refused to come up to receive their prize money (should've woke up the guy passed out at the drum to go up for you all)??? or, even the same group who wouldn't sign a release to be on the Pow Wow CD being made for Salamanca??? every other drum signed the waiver and are looking forward to their complimentary CD's and being promoted. Wow, I am just ashamed of you boys braggin it up here...you have good dayz and bad dayz as all do...too bad you had to go all the way to RI to win it though-was the real competition at Grand River too stiff??? LOL (j/k)

Young Guns,

You guys did do really well in Roade Island and congrats on winning first. Nonetheless, this still does not give you the right to critique the other groups that were in the singing contest with ya. You were not the judges.

Without mentioning any names many people at that powwow(dancers/other singers) did not think you deserved to win first, but ya did and once again congrats!

Just be careful before ya start bashing other groups on nation wide community fourm, because many people take their groups very serious and you just may end up eating your post.(HAHA).

As for my group ya all might think were no contest(eastern eagle) but we are trying and we think we sing some good ORIGINAL jams. Just please keep in mind that we do not have any Mi'kmaq judges evaluating our songs like you all got cree, ojib, souix judges evaluating your music.

I think this post was started cause some people told YOU ya didn't deserve first at road island, and this is your way of dealing with that.

Either way it doesn't mater!(good travels)

I think it's interesting...here you all are boasting about how terrible this Young group is for celebrating a victory. Yet, there you sit (annoymously replying at your computer - very noble I might say) demoting and deploring your own brotherhood. I think any young group should celebrate in their victory, no matter who was singing, who sang along, or who liked the songs...isn't that what our songs are about...the victories of creation. Our CREATOR tells us to love and respect each other, only this will make us stronger as Native people.

I believe we suffer enough abuse from the world we live in - why here? Don't respond. Just think about it.

Besides, no one knows who is behind the post. You don't know me and I don't know you. You don't even know that this was originally posted by the Young Gunz, for common sense would tell us that there aren't eight guys sitting around a computer typing their hearts out to all of you.
