Littlej,
I'm not sure what your thread has to do with Northern Singing But. . . Most Pueblo people speak a variation of two primary linguistic stocks, Keresan or Tanoan, Tanoan is divided into 3 sub-dialects as well being: TIWA, TEWA and TOWA. The Zuni Pueblo has its own language, unrelated to any of the others. There are 19 pueblos in New Mexico today out of an estimated 127 villages at the time of European contact. Taos pueblo is among the most traditional of all Indian peoples. What pueblo are your people? For that matter, what band of Blackfoot are you?

well... i would have to do some investigating to find out what pueblo and what band of blackfoot. because i honestly don't know. Could talk to my grandparents to find out. my dad doesn't claim he's native at all, and my mom only says she is to certain people. and neither of them know anything about anything so...let me do some investigating and i'll get back to you.

In almost all Native languages, the basic vowels are: E I O U A. You can also say your first sentence that makes some sense right away: "Eeeee! I Owe You, Aye"! |
