They are both good singers, it is up to the individual what style they like in a backup singer. I prefer smokeytown ladies' powerful sound, complimenting the men very well, they've won a few canary contests in their time :D

Kit sounds way better by herself than those Smokytown gurls put together, just imagine if there were 4 or 5 Kits.

I've heard em both... and they all sound awesome... but I gotta go with "KIT" on this one.. :) I was a little disappointed that she didn't make with BC boyz to ASU, but they still rocked!

If you have been around powwowing for a long time, when the smokeytown ladies first started singing, the eldest daughter sang by herself for the first couple of years and still sounded excellent doing it all by herself, she is on a couple of their early recordings. Awesome!

Smokey Town Girls!!!!!! Cheyanne sang by herself for a few years and sounded awesome, Can only think of 1 or 2 other singers that can hang with Kit alone.
