We taught whitefish but who is the tribe?
where do they originate from? how long they been singing? how many contests have they won? do they go to traditional powwows? do they sposor other organizations for free? do they ask for tobacco and cloth when they? so many questions? is their record clean or ? I have seen them all and when you ask who is better you should be asking politely! who sings for the sake of the peoples' cultural existence and whatnot.

I agree Kitch. In my opinion this is a ridiculas comparison and furthermore I want to make it very clear that I have nothing against either drum. I've danced and listened to each groups CD's, as well as observed each group at various pow-wows. Only with the anonimity of the internet could one find such a comparison of two drum groups as this and I have to wonder what motivates someone in the first place to even suggest that "Tha Tribe" could compete with WFjr's by starting this thread, especially after reading everyones post's that clearly the majority of posters on this thread prefer WFjr's over tha tribe........yet the pole seems to reflect otherwise. You know what I think........based upon my personal observations and the posts thus far, Tha tribe is out of its league when it comes to WFjr's. Only on the internet could someone truly "fix" a pole of opinions like the one that is attached to this thead. WFjr's respects their drum and it is my understanding that many drum groups have and continue to look up to them for inspiration. The Dreavers will continue to have a lasting effect and will enjoy a true positive legacy when it comes to the history of pow-wow singing. Tha tribe.......I really find it hard to even comprehend such a thought. It is almost laughable, actually. Honestly, for anyone to even think tha tribe is at the level of WFjr's should have their damn head examined.
