Water plan released for Lake Coeur d’Alene

Coeur d’Alene, Idaho (AP) Preserving the water quality of Lake Coeur d’Alene depends on keeping a century of heavy metals pollution stuck to the bottom, environmental regulators said during June. Toward that goal, the state of Idaho and the Coeur d’Alene Tribe, with a boost from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, released a sweeping lake management plan June 24 that capped years of intense negotiations. |
