Indian remains at Denver museum to be turned over to tribes
Denver, Colorado (AP)
American Indian remains housed at the Colorado History Museum in Denver will be turned over to the Ute Mountain Ute and Southern Ute tribes for reburial under a process three years in the works. The approval of the process announced Monday would turn over to the tribes 37 “culturally unidentifiable” remains housed at the museum for reburial. |
