Texas casino financier sentenced to 39 months
Muskogee, Oklahoma (AP)
A federal judge on May 20 sentenced a former casino financier to 39 months in prison for bribing Seminole Nation officials in return for illegal gaming contracts. Ivy Kwok Ong, of El Paso, Texas, also received 36 months of supervised release and was ordered to pay $199,610 in restitution, federal prosecutors said. The supervised release will run concurrently to his prison term. |
