LDF Tribal Prosecutor refutes Ginew Grandmothers Bookmark and Share

Back in March several tribal grandmothers occupied the Lac du Flambeau tribal offices to protest questionable investments. The grandmothers claimed their occupation was peaceful. They were recently charged in Vilas County court with unlawful assembly and destroying government property.

Tribal Prosecutor R. Terry Hoyt says the Ginew Grandmothers occupation of tribal headquarters wasn't as peaceful as people have thought. Hoyt also explains why tribal president Victoria Doud asked him to introduce a banishment ordinance for the Lac du Flambeau
