Three Affiliated Tribes elder dies at 86
Mandaree, North Dakota (AP)
Tribal members say Louella Benson Young Bear, who died recently, was one of the few people who spoke the Mandan language fluently. Funeral services are being made for the 86-year-old Young Bear, of Mandaree. She was one of the elders of the Three Affiliated Tribes. |
