Vancouver sues over proposed Cowlitz tribal casino near La Center
Tacoma, Washington (AP)
A lawsuit has been filed by Vancouver, Wash., over plans by the Cowlitz Indian tribe for a $510 million casino near La Center. In the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Tacoma, the city asks that the National Indian Gaming Commission set aside a tribal gaming ordinance that was approved in January. |
