UA Museum director announces retirement
Fairbanks, Alaska (AP)
The director of the University of Alaska Museum of the North is retiring after 15 years on the job and an era of growth for the facility. Aldona Jonaitis will step down Nov. 27, her 60th birthday, after helping to transform the museum from a cramped tourist attraction to an Alaska architectural landmark. |
