Missing Aboriginal Woman from Six Nations, Ontario

TASHINA CHEYENNE VAUGHN GENERAL

DOB: Oct. 2, 1986

Missing From: Six Nations Reserve, Ohsweken, Ontario, Canada

Date Missing: January 22, 2008

Description: Female, native, 21 yrs, 5’7”, 150 lbs, brown eyes, wears black rimmed glasses, long brown hair, small T shaped scar on left brow, round dark brown birthmark on back of left thigh.

Remarks: Last seen in the vicinity of Chiefswood Road & 4th Line Road in the Village of Ohsweken on January 22, 2008.

It was said that Tashina was last seen Jan. 22 at noon outside of Village Pizza on Six Nations Reserve. She was thought to be wearing a teal coloured jacket. Missing persons postings have gone to many places on both sides of the border(Ontario and US), the border is also made aware and the postings have gone out to many various other reservations.
Nothing was turned up with the search that was conducted yesterday. The helicopter had done a sweep of the reservation. Search with dogs was done in the vicinity that Tashina was last seen, in a wooded area near her disapperance and around her home.

Police are following up with tips that Tashina was seen on Six Nations 2 weeks ago. So far this tips have not lead to her being found.Police are still investigating. thats great chazzif.. no one knows where tashina could be, she is about 6 months or so pregnant as well..

our community here is doing all we can to search for her, its so unlike her and we all just hope and pray thats shes okay!
yesterday the police did an aerial search but there is so much snow and they were doing a ground search today.

the message this morning was if you've seen tashina, call the police or crimestoppers or tell her to call home and let us know where she is!

I just wanted to post this and get it out there and hope that maybe someone has seen her as I know her and some of her family.
