Bill extending commission on Indian affairs headed to governor
Nashville, Tennessee (AP)
Legislation that would extend the life of the state’s commission on Indian affairs by another year is headed to the governor for his consideration. The measure sponsored by Rep. Mike Kernell, a Memphis Democrat, passed the house 78-14 on with no debate. The Senate approved it 24-6 last month. |
