I can't believe some humans,,,,,we are all responsible for our actions to kill an animal in a bad way is terrible.. To slap a person on the wrist with a sentence of fourteen months (which he will never see the inside of jail) is wrong he killed an animal that helps carry the prayers and hope of all Native people.I will pray for this spirit. The people need to respond to this an APOLOGY, SMALL FINE AND SMALL JAIL TIME IS RIDICULOUS. I am lost for words,,,,,,,,,,,,I am a pipe carrier and this hurts..............1tatanka

I hope he go's to jail & looses lots of money not only by fines but by bad rep! Hitting it on accident is one thing but going out of his way to hit it was just plain stupid, maybe the Hawk was telling him he sucked as a golfer lol

Just one more example (as if we needed any more) of the total lack of regard for life, human and animal, that so many have today.

I hope he misses the cut the rest of this year...

When I first read this article I thought it was one of those accident things
But he tried many times to hit the Hawk

But also was the fact that the Film crew stood around while he did it and said nothing like he was above them
Arggh
They are just as guilty!!!
