Remains unearthed at Bolsa Chica Mesa construction site
Huntington Beach, California (AP)
American Indian bone fragments have been unearthed at a Bolsa Chica Mesa construction site where a residential community is planned. California Native American Heritage Commission officials say the Brightwater Hearthside Homes site may be an ancient burial ground of international importance. Half the 174 bone fragments were found in the past 18 months. |
