Makoti refinery nearing government OK
Bismarck, North Dakota (AP)
A proposed tribally owned oil refinery on the Fort Berthold Reservation should get final government approval by spring, an official says. Horace Pipe, a consultant for the Three Affiliated Tribes and project manager for the refinery, said an Environmental Protection Agency study should be published in March. Following a 60-day waiting period, the tribe should have final federal approval by late May, he said. |
