Organization that says inmate Barry Beach wrongly convicted
Great Falls, Montana (AP)
An organization that says inmate Barry Beach was wrongly convicted of murder plans a public-relations campaign to press for his release. Montanans for Justice, formed Nov. 28, is raising money for what the group hopes will be a $190,000 campaign. Beach was convicted of murder in 1983 for the 1979 bludgeoning of Kimberly Nees, 17, whose body was found in the Poplar River on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation. |
