Big Foot Horse riders on 300-mile journey
McLaughlin, South Dakota (AP)
South Dakota’s annual Big Foot Memorial Ride is under way. About 40 riders on horseback started the trek Dec. 15 in Corson County. By the time the ride is finished, 287 miles later, and two weeks on the ride, on the Pine Ridge Reservation, about 200 people are expected to be in the group. |
