Impeachment rejected for Pine Ridge President
Pine Ridge, South Dakota (AP)
The Oglala Sioux Tribal Council has decided not to impeach tribal President John Yellow Bird Steele and has dismissed all allegations against him. A Black Hills treaty council had accused Yellow Bird Steele of meeting with an energy company to explore uranium mining on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. |
