I had a wing and now an iphone, both 2g and 3g and there is a website that allows you to upload a song or sound/sounds (takes forever though) from your files on your computer and once it's uploaded you can make a start and stop point and even change the volume level and send it to your apps as a ringtone (iphone) or save it under different formats and send to your cellphone. I hope this helps you and remember, it does take a long time to upload the song but trust me it's well worth it. I have ringtones that when someone hears there like all over it LOL
This was a top secret site from what I heard but all my homiez are all over it making custom ringtones from their own songs to make to the public for more of a crowd to their cause. INCREASE THE PEACE!!!

I do custom ring tones for a lot of people. That's how I do it and it works every time if your phone accepts email.
