Next years events need ideas please!!

we are planning events also for next years heritage month.
next to our on campus powwow and our workshops.
we are thinking of doing the whole thing on boarding school...i need some ideas to bring to the table does anyone have any?

also we are planning an elders convention? does anyone have any ideas?we get $$$ from on campus funding which cap has alot of $$.

Our drum/dancing group put out an open invitation to all the local Middle and High Schools in October that we would be willing to come in and do a presentation this month. We've done 2 so far, and have 3 more to do before December. It's gone very well, and it's a good way to expose kids from all walks of life about Native Heritage Month.

I got an idea, you can set up a free myspace account to promote your event if you want more ndn's and non-ndn's to know about it and possibly attend
