What does everyone think about her and what she does?

don't know everything about her, but she is a STRONG ndn/jewish woman advocating for natives and the environment & that ranks her high in my book -
support anyone other than megalomaniac bush and you're good in my book....... but, the vote splitting is a real problem in tight elections that put morons like bush in office -

yeah and Ralph Nader would have been better????? she was on his ticket as VP during the first Bush election....morons put Bush in office, and morons almost elected Al Gore too....and did elect Bush twice...
There are NO (zero) good candidates..from which to choose...and it will probably get a lot worse soon....It's also interesting that nobody ever goes off on congress...but guess who passes ALL laws...and handles ALL money...and is absolutely totally for sale to the highest bidders, such as AMA, business, trial lawyers, CEOs and any and all with lots of $$ to get them elected/re-elected.....and congressmen can run any number of times, unlike presidents...but then again, how many people vote at all? IT's ALWAYS a low percentage....every time...encouraging? eh what?? |

lesser of two evils i guess you could say - sure, gov't is/can be corrupt on all levels but i was addressing the presidency.....
and, i assure you the president can throw his weight around on capitol hill if it's something he really wants - back door deals left and right...... - ol bushie has a lot of friends and he's known to pay back favors in generous terms (i.e. appointing people to positions they're not qualified for - miers, michael brown:):)) yeah, it's a sad state of affairs, the shape of our country - this administration's turned us into a bunch of puppets......

I've had her in one of my classses at BSU and she's a very nice and sincere person. Everytime I see her she's very friendly and always asks how my children are doing plus she has a good bannock recipe that hasn't failed yet. She really wants to help our people and bring attention to environmental issues to ensure we have Earth for our future generations.

I know Winona, she is a good lady, with a strong spirit and mind.....she does many good things and we need more people who are active like she is. She does however, get pulled in way too many directions, making her the busiest person I know!
