Question Indian?

Native Issues?
What do we really go by? Indian ? Aboriginal? Cree? Lakota?
Indigenous? First Nations? Original People?
What is it with all this English-Isn't this our second language?
I am totally cun*fused?
Tell me boyz & girlz what do you call yourself in your language & what does it mean?
Cree is short for Christianee
Indian is another word Columbus came up with because he thought he landed in India or the West Indies!
Shouldn't we call the English the "Lost Tribe"?
What about the AfroAmerican-Blacks?
Nehiyew means "Those who speak accurately" in our tongue.
Please confirm your dialect if you can?
Thank you for your time!

Our people call themselves either Chatah (descendants of Chatah or Choctaw) or Chikashah (descendants of Chatah's brother Chickasaw).

I'm also a redblack mixedblood. So to answer the question about African Americans, it really depends on the person. I usually use the term African American/American Indian or Black/Chickasaw. What hurts though is that the few West Africans I've met (West Africa being the region where the slaves came from) refuse to accept me as African because I'm mixed. Dang, is it my fault they didn't come and get us?? Just mindless chatter that I felt like spewing at the moment.
