Diaz To Wed in Native American Dress By WENN ............................................ Hollywood star Cameron Diaz will marry pop sensation Justin Timberlake wearing a Native American dress designed by her best friend David Jet Black Horse. The Being John Malkovich beauty, whose mother Billie is of native American descent, wants to break with the tradition of a white gown when she weds later this year, so she will fly Black Horse to Los Angeles next week for a dress consultation. The designer says, "I am hoping to make her a really cool Native American wedding dress, with white moccasins and everything. "I think she would look amazing in a white leather shortish dress with beading--the moccasins would match. She has a dress a bit like it already but it would be different and fun."

Hmmm well... again this topic surfaces.. LOL...
the last time it surfaced the topic was shot down quick nd alot of people were insulted by her sudden claim to NdN Blood and more so an Apache to make her a dress... why not a Blackfoot designer? LOL j/k personally tho, who really cares... theres always gonna be people that lay claim to being an NdN... we can keep taking it as an insult or we can shrug it off and say they only wish they were and move on. We can all have our opinions but in the end she will DO what she wants and make sum Apache designer a rich man. Lets just hope that they both have sum amount of respect to not lay claim to it being a traditional Native wedding and wedding dress. |

I'll make her a traditional indian dress! Maybe one from the early 14th century! I'm sure Justin would like that.
We'll just have to sit back and see if she really does it. |

Is she going to have a native wedding or a christian wedding???? To me it's her wedding and she has the right to do what she wants. The only thing that concerns me is the media attention that will be focused on this wedding. Will Ms. Diaz make a spectacle of our traditions my wearing this dress? I pray thet her heart is in the right place.
