Question on Tennessee AIM

I need to contact someone in the Tennessee American Indian Movement Chapter. I have some information on a problem that needs to be taken care of, but have no way of contacting someone in Tennessee. If anyone knows how I may contact someone in Tennessee, (this is a native issue), please contact me through one of these ways.

If there's an AIM chapter anywhere in this state, I haven't seen one. Theres some pretenders, but you definitely want to stay away from those "bigger ndn than thou" idiots.

Contact Pat Cummins at the Alliance for Native American Indian Rights website. He does know some AIM folks who live here, but like I said, they don't have a chapter. Hope this helps.

How about contacting someone who actually might be able to solve the problem, as opposed to just pissing in the wind like most AIMsters do. The Tennessee Commission on Indian Affairs is a good starting point, particularly Terri Ellenwood. AIM basically is worthless. All they usually accomplish is stirring up hornets nests then they leave the locals to deal with the stings. All of this is aside from the fact that they've done nothing to support the family of Anna Mae Aquash, while offering support for one man convicted of her murder, and helping the other one charged fight extradition.
