CBS offers apology for group's GRAMMY peformance
Tuesday, February 10, 2004

A spokesperson for CBS said the network is "very sorry if anyone was offended" by Sunday night's performance by the hip-hop group OutKast.

OutKast was the last performer on the 46th annual GRAMMY awards ceremony. Frontman Andre 3000 sang the hit "Hey Ya!" backed by scantily clad women wearing Indian-themed costumes. A man wearing a headdress could be seen on stage, where a large tipi bellowed smoke.

Additional pictures and discussion can be found on the Indianz.Com message board here and here.
