AS LONG AS BUSH DOESNT GET IN, REALLY I DONT SEE WHY ANYONE ELSE WOULD MATTER. LOOK IM OVER HERE IN GERMANY RIGHT NOW AND I CANNOT STAND THE FACT THAT MY OLE MAN IS HAVING TO GO OVER TO IRAQ FOR SOMETHING THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH US. ITS BUSH WHO WANTS THIS TO MAKE UP OR FINISH FOR HIS DUMB FATHER. WHOEVER GETS THESE BOYS OUT OF THIS CRAZY WAR AND BRINGS THEM HOME WILL BE ALRIGHT BY ME. No non sence guyand we need some one like him to run and not be scared to hit Bush where it hurts. His stand on taxes is scaring some away but look at the big picture and how it will help the economy. The other candidates just don't seem to have what Dean has and thats the power to mow Bush down!

There is alot of information related to candidates and their American Indian/Alaska Native policy listed on this site. Additionally, most of the candidates have responded to a tribal sovereignty specific questionnaire, with their responses also posted on this site.

Lets stop the voting apathy plaguing so many of our communties. The only way our issues will be addressed is if Indian people vote. Politicians dont respond to non-voters, simple as that. We have to turnout in record numbers this year. We have made an impact in several elections ( Sens. Johnson and Cantwell) and we can comtinue to be the swing vote. Trust me - politcians are watching the native vote very closely this election.

If you don't vote- your complaints about the government lose all credibility.

I havent seen you around in a long time. Where have u been.

Right now we are playing the white peoples game. They determine the candidates and we vote for them and nothing changes either with a democrat or republican. The democrats give us more lip service but seeing how they have treated the black race Im not to fond of seeing indians being their lap dogs.

Its unfortunate that were such a small group. So our only "power" is in the casino money. We matter only in a couple states. Long range we need to have lots of babies. Every woman should have at least 3 preferably 9 to maintain the race. Those states that we do have serious influence in we need to play the parties off each other but that would require a united voice which we dont have. If we had a united voice we could say to one party hey look give us this and we will vote for you and poor money into your accounts. That requires unity.

So first off we need to unify in a common voice which requires a charismatic native leader which doesn't exist right now anyone got any people to nominate? We need another Tecumseh
