u.k ebay auction degrading to Native American women

hello all!
I saw this ebay auction in the u.k. i was deeply offended by the seller using the word "Squaw" in the description. it is an oil painting of an almost totally nude Native American Woman. please visit this link to the auction

and contact the seller to enlighten him on why this term is terribly disrespectful.
just like a european to continue to degrade our culture and the women in it.:Angry

Some people just don't know what that word means. When we were recording our CD, the guy at the studio told us that he wanted our "Squaws" to move up to the mic more. We educated him very quick on this and he apologized. He just didn't know.

its true that some people just dont know. over here in england im sure the majority of people are very unaware. more of a reason to spread the word. there are some groups of people over here that know a great deal more than youd expect but they are the minority. alot of the Hollywood stereotypes are still what people picture ndns as. cougie
