My family wants to send our deepest condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed by the many singers he influenced. His memory will live forever in the many, many songs he sang.

I am so sorry to hear about Bunny.

I have known him since I was a kid, when he attended IAIA and sang with the Bear Singers.

I am sorry to hear of his passing.

meskwaki_diva is on a distinguished road
Re: Alvin J. Bear

It has been 1 week and 4 days since his passing but yet it has finally sank in that he's no longer with us. Which all I can say it was too early. But he will be remembered very strongly and his songs will live on thru his sons if not his nephews, Meskwaki Nation. There are so many good singers and dancers that are being called home.

Time keeps passing but my memories of my Dad are forever embedded in my Heart, and will never pass on. I want to thank all of you for your kind words of encouragement and sympathy since his passing. He was truly a Teacher and he has taught me alot through the years and one of those teachings was to be Strong. I know his spirit will always be with us and his teachings will always be guiding us in the years ahead.
Again Thank You!
