May 28, 2006 will be 10 years that my brother has been gone. The year he passed I had won my first title as Miss NDN Richmond County. I remember he was so proud of me. I wish he know I was also very proud of him. HE IS LOVED AND MISSED.

Who are you and your people?

When I first read the title, I thought the singer Jody Cummings that sang with Southern Suns and now Cedar Tree had passed away.

Although to find out this is not the same Jody Cummings, its always a "moment" no matter who you are. May you hold on those precious memories near and dear to your heart. Sometimes, that is all we have of one another.

I live in Richmond County. My mother's family is from Hoke County ( The Cummings Clan). My father is from Saddle Tree ( Horace Jacobs) I am so excited to know there is another Jody Cummings out there. Thanks for post. I can't believe you respond right on the anniverary of his death. Another Jody Cummings is making my heart swell.
