Wanda Amy

Wanda Lim Amy was one of the first people I met when I began dancing nine years ago. She has always had a warm hug and huge smile for me and my family. I am proud to have known her and learned so much from her. Her strength continues to be amazing. My heart and prayers go out to her family, especially Theresa. Theresa, thank you for sharing your mom with all of us.

I don't want to say goodbye, but will say what I can in my language:
Che pisa le cho. I'll be seeing you.

Thanks for those kind words about my auntie/cousin-in-law.

Wanda was my wife's cousin, as her mom was my mother in law's older sister. Wanda was a granddaughter of the famous Acoma potter Lucy Lewis. Also, some of Wanda's grandkids (Theresa's kids) and her son in law are powwow people from the Vancouver area.

I don't know the specific details of any arrangements, but sevices are Friday in the LA area.... if I get a chance I'll pass along more details.

I remember the family well from the times I spent in Cali, they are all so friendly. I remember Wanda and her mom from Kateri.
