Uncle Lolly and Aunty Ivy
My uncle Lolly passed away one year ago March 4th 2005.
The day before he passed on his older sister had passed on before him. February 27 2005. They were both with-in the pow wow trail all their lives. Ivy was an avid dancer, while Lolly sang with the likes of Sioux Assinaboine, Dakota Travels, White Lodge, Eastern Tribes and once with Sage Hills. Never had the chance for him to sing with us on more than one occasion. My Aunty Ivy was a lovely woman who encouraged her kids to continue the pow wow life today...They will be missed and are missed from this side of time. Till we met and gather once again...
