We have lost another loved one:

Eugene Chub Masquat

Please keep the young men from GE-MON-EN-WEK along with Chubs family and friends in your prayers, Chub had shared his songs, stories, humor and wisdom with these young men. Chub has seen them grow from boys to young men, Ge-mon-en-wek had grown from singing a few rounds for intertribals to being Invited Southern Drum and Special Invited Youth Drum, the list goes on.

With the assistance from Dave Cornelius, Chub and the group traveled to many local pow wows in Kansas and were well recognized by their accomplishments. This week-end November 12, 2005 Ge-Mon-En-Wek was honored to have been "Special Invited Drum" for the We-Ta-Se Veteran's powwow they were so proud to have shared which will be a memorable pow wow for them.

Chub was so proud of these young men, and through them Chubs songs will live on.
