Ma, It's nearly a year now since your passing(7-02-04). Seems to have gone by pretty fast and yet it seems such a long time since i've seen you.You were a Parent, Friend & someone I loved very much. I miss you, Dad, & sis. I know one day I will be with yous again,I will just continue on, do the best i can without you. Love alway's your son.Michael Fairbanks(bobo).

I lost my dad last year. Seems no matter how old you are, grief has no age limit. Keeping spirits high

I lost my Dad to Cancer three years ago. I know how you feel. We all have to keep going and it doesnt ever go away, but it does get A LITTLE easier.

I have not lost a parent,yet (sigh) but my heart goes out to EVERYONE. I have suffered loss,it's hard.But with kind words,love an understanding such as the post I've jut read here...it will make it a little easier to get through on the days where the pain seems to "Prick" at your heart a little more than other times.

My prayers are with all!

Thank you PW, I'm sorry for the late reply. Prayers are appreciated and welcome.I don't think the pain will go away for me soon as she was the last of my immediate family. I have 2 good kids, & lots of family back home.

It is always hard. When you become the "head" (lack of a better word,) of the family. But there are your kids, looking to you as you looked to her. I had an awful dream last night that my mom was in an awful car accident, woke up bawling. I cant imagine your pain. I truly pray for you and some comfort. You have my sympathies.
