He is always in my heart

Everyone on August 10th, 2004 my Grandfather Joseph J. Rodgers Sr. went home to be with my Grandma. It was a long road and very surreal thing for me to watch...but its amazing to watch someone step into the next life. My Grandfather was a wonderful man who was in both the Army and the Navy in WWII and Korean War. He was commander of several American Legions, was very very involved with the community and had a lot of honor he also erected several war memorials throughout his community. He gave us many gifts both in this life and in passing. I just wanted to thank everyone for their support, love, and prayers. He will be greatly missed but strongly celebrated!!!
