Unhappy

You and me, both, Journey. My Dad walked on thirteen years ago and sometimes it only seems like yesterday. I almost went to the cemetery today but then I told myself "he's not there, he's all around me". And he is. He even visited me during my last sweat. Scared the sh*t out of me! I can still hear his voice saying "I am with you still"..... Happy Father's Day to all our Dad's!

The Creator sure had a strange sense of humor!

I hope that when my kids are older; they will feel this kind of bond with (their daddy)my husband.

Walk with your kids, talk with them , teach them by example, and the respect will shine thru..

My Dad spent long hours teaching me; fishing, hunting, planting, harvesting, respect for all things, and the circle of life, basically just teaching me his ways and the ways that were taught to him!

Although looking back it was not really "teaching" it was just spending time with my Dad! :)

Unhappy Never knew...

I never knew how hard Father's Day would be without my father. My father, Adrian Lewis Cross, died on May 29, 2004, he didn't make it to Father's Day, but we celebrated in his honor. I love you dad and I miss you so much!!

Love, H

 that's right ... ... regardless of the highs and lows, that a family goes thru .... thanks for refreshing my memory Journey ... i am going to hug my dad this afternoon and tell him again, thanks for being my hero ... my dad. my dad is getting ready to turn 79 and lately ... i have been getting emotional/skeered - on my insides ... i keep positive and try to enjoy every visit with him and soak up any of his "father/daughter" talks and words of his wisdom and even his scoldings ... cause i know ... one day ... our Creator will call us home.
