truely miss him

my grandfather just pass away a week ago.
i learn about how he grew up with his family over a train station. he spend his summers on his uncle's ranch in south dakota where rounded up cattle and help the branding. joined the amry after two years of college and stationed at ft.monroe. that's where he met the love of his life(my grandma), while he "saved her from a runaway horse" on a carousel.
he was a cowboy, soldier, power lineman, electrician, railroad roundhouse foreman, boy scout leader. he was a wwii vet and server two tours in koreo. he was voracious reader until blinded by macular degeneration.

i have learn alot from he, we have alot in common. i learn to look on the bright side of losing my eye sight. i learn to take everything in. i will truely miss miss him.

Sorry for your loss; I feel this way for my grandmother, even though she's still with us, she's not in good health. Everyone should have an elder like this in their life...
